We are launching UK based programmes in 2021. You may want to consider getting involved and/or may know a young person who would greatly benefit from mentorship.
All SAYes programmes integrate transition planning with the skilled application of effective techniques for guidance, advocacy and support. Mentors are rigorously selected through an online application process; undergo intensive training, and are supported throughout their mentorship by a team of transition specialists with rich domain expertise. Mentors and mentees are individually matched and keep mentoring appointments weekly (via WhatsApp Video calls) for a period of nine-months. Mentees work on developing a personalised Individual Transition Plan (ITP) focused on improving the quality of their decision making and the consistency of healthy practices across domains relevant to both independence and well-being.
