On 23 May, SAYes held its first-ever mentor meet-up in Portugal, bringing together a small group of mentors for a relaxed morning of connection in Lisbon. Hosted at Instant Crunch Café on a beautiful spring morning, the gathering had no formal agenda, just space for mentors to meet in person, share stories, exchange perspectives, explore new ideas, and build genuine connections with one another.
The meet-up also marked a special moment for the SAYes team, as UK Programme Lead Natika and Partner Programmes Lead Bridget met face-to-face for the first time after working together remotely for more than two years. The morning reflected the heart of the SAYes community: meaningful relationships, shared learning, and the power of coming together across borders. We look forward to building on this momentum and growing our mentor community in Portugal in the years to come.
